Section 10: Penalty for obstructing Inspector

Whoever wilfully obstructs any Inspector in exercise of any powers conferred on him by or under this Act or knowingly fails to produce on demand by an Inspector any register, record or notice which is required to be maintained under the provision of the Act or any

(4) rule made thereunder, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months or with a fine which may extend to five hundred rupees or with both:

Provided that in no case such imprisonment shall be less than for a week and such fine shall be less than rupees fifty.
