Section 6: Disposal of Mutation Cases in Regular Court

The Circle Officer, on receipt of enquiry report from the Karmachari and Circle Inspector or upon his own enquiry and after the expiry of the period of filing objections as specified in the general notice in Form XI and specific notice in Form XII, shall dispose of cases in his regular court in the following manner:-

(i) Cases in which no objection has been received, shall be disposed of by passing such order as the Circle Officer deems fit within 18 days of the receipt of the mutation petition.

(ii) Cases in which objection has been received, shall be disposed of by passing such order as the Circle Officer deems fit after giving reasonable opportunity to the parties concerned of being heard and adduce evidence, if any, within 30 working days of the receipt of the mutation petition.
