Section 10: Filing of reply and other documents by opposite party

The Bihar Land Tribunal Rules, 2010State Rules of Bihar · 2009

(1) Each of the opposite party intending to contest in the case, shall file in triplicate, reply to the application and documents relied upon by him in paper book form with the Registrar within one month after service of notice of the application on him.

(2) In the reply filed under Sub rule (1), the opposite party shall specifically admit, deny or explain the facts stated and grounds taken by the applicant in his application and may also state such additional fact as may be found necessary for a just decision of the case.

(3) The opposite party shall also serve a copy of reply alongwith documents as referred in sub rule (1) on the applicant or his lawyer, if any, and file proof of such service alongwith the reply.

(4) The Tribunal may allow filing of reply after the expiry of the prescribed period also.

(5) The pleadings shall be verified in the same manner as provided for in Order VI Rule-15 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.
