Section 2: Definitions—(1) In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires,

Bureau of Energy Efficiency ( Annual Report ) Rules, 2005Central Rules · 2001

(@) “Act” means the Energy Conservation Act, 2001;

(b) “Annual Report” means the report referred to in Section 23 of the Act,

(c) “Anmual Statement of Accounts” means annual statement of accounts referred to in Section 25 of the Act (@) “Bureau” means the Bureau of Energy Efficiency established under Sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Act:

(©) “Director-General” means the Director-General of the Bureau appointed under Sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Act:

(D) “Secretary” means the Secretary of the Bureau appointed undler Sub-section(2) of Section 9 of the Act,

(g) “Schedule” means the Schedule annexed to these Rules:

(h) “Year” means the financial year

(2) Words and expression used herein and not defined in these rules but defined in the Enerey Conservation Act, 2001 shall have the meaning as assigned to them in that Act :
