Section 3: Intervals of time for conduct of energy audit

(1)Every designated consumer shall have first energy audit conducted by an accredited energy auditor within eighteen months from publication of these regulations in the Official Gazette.

(2) Every new designated consumer specified by notification under clause (e) of section 14 of the Act shall have its first energy audit conducted by an accredited energy auditor within eighteen months of such notification.

(3) The interval of time for conducting and completion of subsequent energy audits shall be three years from the last date of submission of the previous energy audit report by the accredited energy auditor as per sub-regulation (6) of regulation 6.
