{] I Every petition shall be accompanied hy a deposit of three thousand rupees in c<l.~h :1~ security for the costs likely to be incurred:-
Provided that where such petition relates to the election of a candidale belonging to the Scheduled caste~ or the $cheduled Tribes, the amount of such deposit shall he~ onc1.thnusand and f1ve hundred rupces·only.
(2) Ar the conclusion of the dispute, the deposit or, if the petitioner has been directed Jnder rule 5R to pay cn:.ts, Lhe. halar1ce, if any, of the deposit after deduction of 1iwse Gkr.;t·s, shall he refunded to the petitioner.
