Section 8: In the said rules, in rule 106, - (A) for sub-rule (I), the following shall be substituted, namely

"(I) No head lamp showing a light to the front shall be used on any motor vehicle including agricultural tractor and construction equipment vehicle (whether fitted with single or dual head lamp) unless such lamp is so constructed, fitted' and maintained that the beam of light emitted there from meet the requirements of respective safety standards notified under rule 124 and 124A.

(B) sub-rule (2) shall be omitted.
