Section 5: Release of amount from the Fund

(l) The Central Commission shall seek release of amount from the Fund against its annual budgct twice (in the I l i I I I t qrqtr-qlrs3(i)l qIG INIlIl: lIANItol ll month of April, and September) in a financial ycr. Upon recciving such a requisition from the Cenhal Comrnission, thc Ccntral Govcrnment shall -

(a) trmsfer the appropriate part of the sums of grants and loans for the Central Commission approved by the Parliament in the annual budgct ofthe Ministry of Powerto the Fund and sinutbncot*ly;,

(b) rrlease the amount os requisitioned fr<im the Fund to the Central Commission by account paye€ chcque through ib Pay and Acoomts Office.

(2) T?rb Central CommBsion shall maintain prropcr accour s and other records of the grants and loans in the manner as may be pescribed by the Central Government in this behalf.

(3) At the close of Financial Year the Cennal Commission .shall fumish a utilisation certificate stating trerein the opening balancc, amount (including of granls and loans) reccived from the Fund and utilised and the balance remaining unutilised.
