(1) The provlslons of rule 144 shall apply to every goods caEtage in so far as the seat of drlve! ls concerned.

l6a. Requlrements for autorickshax.--(1) Every autorlckshavr shaU--

(1) have body either of a statj.on wagon or a box type o! hackney carriage type as approved by the State TransPort Authorlty and soundly constructed to the satisfaction of the Reglsterlng Authorlty and shall be securely fastened to the frame of the vehlcle and there shaU be adequate arrangements for Prot€ction of passengers from sun, wlnd and raln'
