Section 71: Carrlage of persoital luggage ln stage .or contract carriage

In the case of a permlt for a stage carriage, it shell be a condltlon that the tuggage and pe!sonal effects of each passenger shaII be carried free of charJes subject to the limlts glven below,-_ (A) a Stage carriage operatlng on routes other than route operatlve in urban aaeas locally :--

(a) 30 ktlograms for each passeDger occupylng 6 seatj,n a stage carriage registered as Deluxe or Alrcondltioned ;

(b) 15 ktlograms for each passenger occlrpying a seat in a stage carrlage other than refeared to in claqse(a) above ;

(B) Stage carrlages operatlng on routes other than those speclfted ln clause (A), 5 kloErams for each passenger; provided the luEgage is carrted by thepassenger in h1s lap or underneath his seat :

Provlded that smalt arttctes such as overcoats and hand bags and the llke shall not be welghed.
