Section 2: Definitions

In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires:

a) "Act" means the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Reg ulation) Act, 2010;

b) "State Council" means the Union Territory Council for Clinical Establishments, Chandigarh constituted under Section 8 of the Act;

and The words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the same meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
