(1) An associat ion of advocates, known by any name, funct ioning in any part of the State may, before a date to be noti f ied by the Bar Counci l in this behalf, apply for recognit ion and registrat ion, to the Bar Counci l in such form and on payment of such annual subscript ion, or other fees as the Bar Counci l may, from t ime to t ime, determine.
(2) Every such appl icat ion shal l be accompanied by the rules or byelaws of the associat ion, names and addresses of the off ice-bearers of the associat ion and an up-to-date l ist of the members of the associat ion showing the name, address, date of birth, age, date of enrolment and the ordinary place of pract ice of each member.
(3) The Bar Counci l may, after such enquiry as i t deems necessary, recognise the associat ion and issue a cert i f icate of registrat ion in such form as i t may specify.
(4) The decision of the Bar Counci l regarding the recognit ion and registrat ion of a Bar Associat ion shal l be f inal.
(2) Every Bar Associat ion shal l int imate to the Bar Counci l , -
(a) any change of the off ice bearers of the associat ion within f i f teen days from the date of such change;
(b) any change in the membership including admissions and readmissions within thirty days from the date of such change;
(c) the death, ret irement, cessation or suspension of pract ice of any of i ts member within thirty days from the date of the happening of the event or on receiving of the int imation thereof, whichever is later; and 11
(d) such other matters as may be required by the Bar Counci l , from t ime to t ime.
