Section 5: Valuation, cutting trees and sale of specified trees

(1) The valuat ion of the specif ied trees permitted to be cut shal l be based on the report of the Divisional Forest Off icer prepared in such manner, as may be prescribed.

(2) The Col lector shal l endorse a copy of the permission granted under Section 4 to the Divis ional Forest Off icer who shall be responsible for cutt ing, stacking, transport and sale of the trees and shal l remit considerat ion thereof to the joint account of the Bhumiswami and the Col lector, in the prescribed manner.
