Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

(1) These rules may be called the Chhattisgarh Adim Janjatiyon ka Sanrakshan (Vrakshon me Hit) Niyam, 2022.

(2) These rules shall be applicable in the whole State of Chhattisgarh.

(3) These rules shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Definitions- In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,-

(a) "Act" means the Chhattisgarh Adim Janjatiyon ka Sanrakshan (Vraksho me Hit) Adhiniyam, 1999 (No.12 of 1999);

(b) “Code” means the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, 1959 (No. 20 of 1959).
