Section 4: Process

The Agriculture Land Allotted on Government Lease in Non-Urban Area Rules, 2022State Rules of Chhattisgarh · 1959

(1) The application, in Form-A, along with the documents mention therein and the Affidavit, in Form-B, for Bhumiswami Rights shall be given to the Collector by the Government Lessee.

(2) Before updating the land records as Bhumiswami, the validity of the lease shall be necessarily inquired in appropriate manner by the Collector.

(3) The evaluation of the eligibility, the process and the period shall be ensured during the verification of the leases, and the leases issued wrongly shall be declared null and void as per the rules.

(4) The Bhumiswami Rights Certificate, in Form-C, shall be issued to the Government Lessee on finding eligible after the appropriate enquiry.

(5) The final decision shall be passed within 06 months from the receipt of the application.
