Section 26: Chairman oj the meeting

(1) I:very meeting oi the Council Kill be presided over by the President, or if he is absent, by the Vice­ resident, or, it both the President and the \ ice-President are absent, by a hairman to be elected bv the members present, from among themselves:

(2) All references in this part to the President shall be read as referng to the person for the time being presiding over a meeting.

(3) Seyen members oj_the Council present in person shall constitute quorum.'pFovIded that in the case of a meeting adjourned for want of orum, no quorum shall be required.
