Section 122: Exemptions to be conditional

The Chhattisgarh Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1972State Rules of Chhattisgarh · 1952

Notwithstanding anything hereinbefore contained in these rules, any relaxation of or exemption from any such rule in respect of premises duly l icensed for use for cinematograph exhibit ion before the coming into force of these rules shall operate only in such premises which have be en constructed in accordance with the provisions of the rules under which they were l icensed and so long as such premises are not renovated or otherwise substantially altered and upon such renovation or other alteration any such relaxation or exemption sha ll cease to operate and these rules shall apply to such premises as i t applies to other premises. If any question arises whether the premises are or are not renovated or substantially altered, i t shall be referred to the l icensing authority for i ts decis io n and i ts decision shall be final .
