Section 4: Application for Registration

The Chhattisgarh Co-Operative Societies Rules, 1962 DateState Rules of Chhattisgarh · 1961

(1) Every application for registration of a society under sub -section (1) of Section 7 shall be made in Form A.

(2) Where any member of a society to be regi stered is a registered society, a member of the committee of such society shall be authorised by such committee by a resolution to sign the application for registration on i ts behalf and a copy of such resolution shall be appended to the application.

(3) The application shall be sent to the Registrar by register ed post or delivered by hand.

(4) After receiving the application under sub -rule (3) the Regist rar shall enter the application in the register maintained for the purpose and shall issue a receipt of such application duly signed by him, in which the date of receipt of such application shall also be ment ioned.
