On receipt of the registration and memorandum of inspection book, the Deputy Chief Inspector or Chief Inspector shall enter the boiler under i ts original number in Part II of his register and shall instruct the Inspector of the area in which the boiler is si tuate d to enter i t similarly in his regis ter. The registration book and the memorandum of Inspection Book shall be kept in the office of the Deputy Chief Inspector or the Chief Inspector.
