The Dadra And Nagar Haveli Village Panchayats Regulation, 1965.Regulations · 1965

(1) It shall be the duty of every Panchayat so far as its Fund may allow to make reasonable provision within its jurisdiction in regard to the matters specified in the Second Schedule.

(2) A Panchayat may also make provision for carrying out within the area comprised within its jurisdiction any other work or measure which is likely to promote the health, safety, education, comfort, convenience or social or economic well-being 01 the residents of the area.
