(1) The line departments, local bodies, public authorities, public or private agencies rendering services of public utility shall designate Authorized Officers having authority to access, use, update the geo- spatial data, geo- spatial map, geo- spatial portal, and their attribute data. The spatial data shall be mandatorily updated by the line departments, local bodies, public authorities, public or private agencies, as per the provisions of the Act, in consultation with the Geo-Spatial Delhi Limited.
(2) Authorized Officers so appointed shall access the data as authorized and provided in clause (1) with secured password and other security measures as assigned and decided by the Geo Spatial Delhi Limited from time to time.

(3) Authorized Officers in possession of password and/or other security features shall maintain its secrecy and in case of any such breach, shall inform the Geo Spatial Delhi Limited immediately who shall take necessary action for the safety and security of the data to rule out any unauthorized access of the data.
(4) In the event of the disengagement of services of Authorized Officers for any reason, working in a particular line department, local body, public authority, public or private agency rendering services of public utility, .
Geo Spatial Delhi Lim~ed shall be informed in advance to facilitate the the data 110m any "nauthorized access.

(5) The line departments, local bodies, public authorities, public or private agencies rendering service of public utility shall also take steps directing their respective Authorized Officers to use digital signature wherever feasible and possible for accessing, downloading, using, updating and administrating the gee-spatial data.
