A nodal officer shall be designated in the District Education Office of the Department of Education, each zone of Local Bodies and in Department of Social Welfare within three months of the notification of these rules, to deal with all matters relating to admission of children with disabilities and the facilities to be provided to them in schools in accordance with the provisions of sections 16 and 31 of the Act.
