Section 2: Definitions

G.S.R 618 - Sree Chitra Tirunal Insititue for Medical Science and Technology Act.Central Regulations · 1980

In these regulations unless the context otherwise requires :—

(a) "Act" means the Sree Chitra Tirunai Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum Act, 1980 (Act 52 of 1980).

(b) "Chairman" means the Chairman of the Governing Body of the Institute.

(c) "Director" means Director of the Institute.

(d) "President" means President of the Institute.

(e) "Member" means member of the Institute.

(f) "Rules" means the rules made by the Central Govern­ ment under section 31 of the Act.

<g) "Schedule" means Schedule of these regulations.

(h) "Section" means a section of the Act.

(i) "Standing Committee and Ad-hoc Committee "means the standing and ad-hoc committee constituted under sub-section (5) of section 10.
