Section 45: Power to exempt

The Goa Administration of Evacuee Property Act, 1964State Act of Goa · Act 6 of 1964

(i) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the Government may, if satisfied as to the genuineness of a case for exemption in respect of any person or class of persons, order that the provisions of this Act shall not apply to him or to such class of persons, as the case may be, or to the property concerned, or shall apply with such modifications as may be specified in the order.

(ii) Every such order shall be published in the Official Gazette.
