If the Board recommends to the Government to increase the rate of benefit specified in the Schedule, the Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, amend the said Schedule so as to increase the rate of benefit as recommended and on the issue of such notification, the said Schedule shall be deemed to be amended accordingly.
