Section 2: Definitions

The Goa Compensation to the Project Affected Persons and Vesting of Land in the Government Rules, 2018.State Rules of Goa · 2017

(1) In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires.-

(a) “Act” means the Goa Compensation to the Project Affected Persons and Vesting of Land in the Government Act, 2017 (Goa Act 16 of 2017);

(b) “Form” means a form appended to these Rules;

(c) “Interested person” means a person who is entitled to the compensation of land acquisition;

(d) “section” means a section of the Act;

(2) Words and expressions used and not defined in these Rules but defined in the Act shall have the meanings as respectively assigned to them in the Act.
