(1) On receipt of the decision of the Government or Authority as the case may be, for payment of compensation, the Collector shall immediately direct the acquiring Department of the Government to make available within thirty days the required fund for disbursement to the interested persons.
(2) On receiving the funds from the acquiring Department of the Government, the Collector shall disburse the same to the interested persons within a period of thirty working days from the date of its receipt.
(3) In case the compensation as decided by the Government or Authority is not paid to the interested person within a period of ninety days from the date of such decision, the interested person shall be paid interest at such rate as stipulated in the relevant law, dealing with acquisition of land.
