Section 2: Definitions

The Goa, Daman and Diu Preservation of Trees Rules, 1983.State Rules of Goa · 1984

In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires, -

(a) "Form" means a Form appended to these rules;

(b) "Ordinance" means the Goa, Daman and Diu Preservation of Trees Second Ordinance, 1983 (Ordinance No.2 of 1983);

(d) Words and expressions which are used in these rules or in the Ordinance shall have the meaning respectively assigned to them in the Indian Forest Act, 1927 (Central Act 16 of 1927).
