Section 30: Employer to furnish identity card to worker

The Goa Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2025State Act of Goa · Act 23 of 2025

The employer of an establishment shall furnish to every worker an identity card which shall be produced by the worker on demand to Facilitator-cum-Inspector. Such card shall contain the following and such other particulars as may be prescribed, namely:—

(a) the name of the employer;

(b) the name, if any, and the postal address, of the establishment;

(c) the name and date of birth of the worker;

(d) date of joining, department, nature of work, designation;

(e) the signature (with date) of the employer or manager.
