(1) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall Uê against the Central Government, the Administrator, any Gold Control Officer or any person authorised by the Central Government or the Administrator for performing any functions under this Ordinance for anything which is in good faith done or Intended to be done under this Ordinance or any rule or order made thereunder.
(2) No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Central Government or the Administrator or any person, authorised by -the Central Government of the Administrator or performing any functions under this Ordinance, for any damage caused or likely to be caused by anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Ordinance or any rule or order made thereunder 4o6 TUB GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART II power to exempt.
110. Where, on the recommendation of the Administrator or otherwise, the Central Government is of opinion that it is necessary or expedient In the public interest so to do, it may, by order and subject to such conditions, if any, as it may specify in the order exempt any dealer or any refiner or any other person from the operation of all or any of the provisions of this Ordinance and may, as often as may be, revoke or modify such order.
