317-A.M.5.—(1) Save as otherwise provided in these rules, a CITCO employee shall be eligible on the basis of the emoluments/post, for allotment of a residence of the type shown in the table of Annexure-I attached to these rules Entitlement for the different categories of house shall be determined by the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh from time to time, keeping in view the change in the emoluments/post or otherwise in consultation with the House Allotment Committee (Upper).

(2) A CITCO employee shall have the option to apply for the type of residence to which he is entitled on the basis of his earlier emoluments and post held by him in CITCO.
