Section 80: Chemical Extinguishers

(1) Chemical extingUishers of an approved type and of at least 13.5 liters capacity shall be provided in such numbers as the Licensing Authority may from time to time direct and shall be placed on brackets four feet from the ground. Directions for using them shall in all cases be prominently painted on the extinguisher or on a card placed over the extinguisher and the attention of the public shall be directed to them by play cards legibly printed or painted and fixed immediately above them:

Provided that, nothing in this rule shall apply to Touring Cinemas.

(2) Chemical extinguisher's shall be renewed or well cleaned and recharged every 12 months, a record of which shall be kept for inspection. ·
