(2) As soon as tht.: Academic Council is constituted under sub-section ( 1 ), it mHy co-opt as members not more than three persons for such periods and in such manner as may be pre.'iCnbcd so as to secure adequate n.-presen1a11on of different sec;or; of\'e;ennary and allied sc!l!llec'
(3) The member; oi !he Academic Council otht.:r than the ex-officio member<; and mcmb..:rs referred in sub-section (2) shall h-Old oflicc for a term of two years.
(.i) Pie Academic Council shall conduct the meeting and transact its business 1n •uch manrn:r as may be prescribed.
2~. (I) The Academic Council shall, ha\'e general control on tcachmg.

to recommend to the Board the afii liation of a college and recognition of an institution;
