Section 25: Examfo~t\~n and cr066-examination ,of witnesses

The Gujarat Lokayukata Rules,1989State Rules of Gujarat · 1986

During the course of he:rring. each party shall have· a right to examine himself and his witnesses and to cross-examine the opposite party ·and the wj.tnesses exai11ined by that party:

Provided that if the Lokayukta is satisfied that the cross- examina tion is ni:JL relevant to the subject matter of the complaint. or is unduly lengtJ1y or is otherwise improper, tn: may disallow it or any p,rrt of it after recording the reason's thereof.
