The Gujarat Rural Debtors' Relief Act, 1976State Act of Gujarat · Act 35 of 1976

(1) Whenever for any cause the payment of one-half or more of the land revenue payable to the State Government is suspended or remitted, the pay ment of the whole of the instalment due for that year and the full amount of the instalment due for each subsequent year under section 9, shall be postponed for one year.

(2) Whenever for any cause the payment of any portion less than one half of the land revenue payable to the State Government is suspended or remitted, one-half of the amount of the instalment for that year and full amount of the instalment due for each subsequent year under section 9 shall be postponed for one year.
