The Haryana Compulsory Registration of Marriages Act 2008(6 of 2008)State Act of Haryana · Act 6 of 2008

(1) The Registrar shall maintain a register of marriages solemnized in the State in such form and manner as may be prescribed.

On receipt of the memorandum of marriage under section 7, the Registrar shall make a record of the same in the register.

(2) On registration of the marriage, the Registrar shall issue a certificate of marriage to the parties in such form as may be prescribed.
