(1) The expert to be engaged shall be classified on the basis of their qualifications and experience in the respective fields of specialization and eminence as given in Schedule- 1.
(2) Subject to sub regulation (1) and depending upon their qualifications and experience in respective fields of specialization, the experts shall be categorized into four levels as given in Schedule II.
8 Remuneration payable to experts.- The remuneration to be paid to different categories of experts shall be in accordance with Schedule 111: Provided that the remuneration payable to an expert who has been in the service of the Central Government or the State Government or any board, company, corporation, Authority or other agency owned or controlled by the Central Government or the State Government, shall be last pay drawn (Gross pay) immediately prior to retirement from the service of the Central Government or the State Government or any board, company, corporation, Authority or other agency owned or controlled by the Central Government or the State Government, minus the pension received.
