(1) The expert shall ordinarily be engaged by the Chief Executive Officer on contractual basis for a period of not more than three years.
(2) The Chief Executive Officer shall publish the details of qualifications, experience and the remuneration payable, on the website of the Authority and invite applications for each category and level of expert giving a stipulated last date for the receipt of the applications for each category and level.

(3) The Chief Executive Officer shall constitute a committee for search-cum-selection for each category of expert, and may invite eminent experts having special knowledge and experience in the relevant field as a member of such committee.
(4) The search-cum-selection committee may determine its procedure for making recommendations; and the recommendations of the search-cum-selection committee for each category shall be placed before the Chief Exccutive Officer for decision.
(5) The Chief Executive Officer may, on the recommendations of the search-cumselection committee, issue letter of engagement to the expert or experts recommended by the committee.
