(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires;-
(a) “Act” means the Haryana Parivar Pehchan Act, 2021 (20 of 2021);
(b) “electronic mode” means a mode such as video-conferencing, video-calling or other audio-visual means based on the available technology;
(c) “Form” means the form appended to these rules;
(d) “Presiding Chair” means the Chairperson of the Authority or in his absence, such member as may be nominated by the Chairperson to preside over a meeting, or part of a meeting, of the Authority;
(e) “registered address” means the postal address of a member, provided by such member to the Chief Executive Officer;
(f) “registered electronic mail address” means the electronic mail address of a member, provided by such member to the Chief Executive Officer.
(g) “Schedule” means the schedule appended to these rules.
(2) Words and expressions used herein and not defined in these rules but defined in the Act shall have the same meaning as assigned to them in the Act.
