(1) Every person remanded to or detained in Reception Centre or Certified Institution shall wear such clothes as the Superintendent may direct and submmit to—
(i) preliminary medical examination and such medical dressing as may in the opinion of the Medical Officer be necessary, Gi) such trimming or shaving of the hair on any part of the body of such person as may in the opinion of the Superintendent or the Medical Officer be necessary for the administration of medical treatment or for securing cleanliness and health ;
Provided that it does notinjure the religious sentiments of the person ;
iii) thorough cleaning and w | Me may be necesssary, and the complete removal if necessary, in order to secure this object.

(2) (@) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (i) a Medical Officer who in pursuance of the provisions of section 7 and sub-sectio of section 23 examines @ person received in a Reception Centre under Gection 13 shall carefully and thoroughly examine all parts of the body of such person and shall—
(j) record the result of the examination in Form “B” j is in good health and in Form“C” if he is not in Ved ean
(ii) keep a copy of such record in t :
concerned; and he case-history of the person
(iii) report the result of his examination to the Superintendent;
Provided that a female shall be examined in the fe | ti Reception Centre and, as far as possible, by a Lady Mosial Otel = (b) The Medical Officer shall arrange in the Reception Centre for immediate medical treatment of the person found to be a contagious leper or a lunatic pending orders of the Staite Government under sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 23 or of the Court under sub-section (3) ofthat section.
(3) Whithout prejudice to the provisions of any other rule, minimum physical force necessary may be used to secure compliance with all or any of the provisions of sub-rule (1) or (2).

A person received in Reception Centre on remanded bya Court Persons reshall, as far as possible, be kept in such centre apart from persons undergoing manded by — a term of detention therein and shall be allowed all reasonable facilities in Feces eee ed connection with the hearing of his case. in Reception Centre to be kept separate.
