Haryana Prevention of Beggary Rules, 1972State Rules of Haryana · 1971

(1) Subject 10 the provision contained in sub-rule (2) the Officerin-charge of a Police Station shall cause a person arrested under sectior 3 of the Act, until he is brought before a Court, to be kept in the nearest Reception Centre or at the Police Station. Such persons, shall while in custody at the Police Station, as far as possible be kept apart from other persons in custody.

(2) Such arrested persons shall be kept with a person of the same sex :

Provided that nothing in this sub-rule shall apply to a child under twelve years of age.

5. The procedure prescribed in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898, for the trial of summon cases shall, so far as may be possible, be followed in making an inquiry under sub-section (1) of section 4.
