Haryana Road Safety Fund Rules, 2018State Rules of Haryana · 1988

(1) Senior Accounts Officer or such other finance officer in Transport Commissioner’s office as authorized by the Administrative Secretary, Transport, shall maintain accounts of the expenditure incurred from the Fund in accordance with the provisions of Financial rules and instructions and the treasury rules. Accounts shall be reconciled with the records of the office of Accountant General (Accounts and Entitlements), Haryana. Before the closure of annual accounts, orders related to reconciliation adjustments shall be made available to the Accountant General (Accounts and Entitlements), Haryana, simultaneously.

(2) The unutilized money left in the fund at the end of the financial year shall be provided in the next financial year in the scheme.

(3) The accounts shall be audited by the Accountant General (Audit), Haryana.

(EXTRA.), DEC. 4, 2023 (AGHN. 13, 1945 SAKA) HARYANA GOVERNMENT TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT Notification The 4th December, 2023 No. 21/2/2014-1T(II).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 138 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988) and with reference to the Haryana Government, Transport Department (Regulatory Wing), notification No. 21/2/2014-1T(II), dated the 18th October, 2023, the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Haryana Road Safety Fund Rules, 2018, namely:-

1. These rules may be called the Haryana Road Safety Fund (Amendment) Rules, 2023.

2. In the Haryana Road Safety Fund Rule, 2018, in rule 8, for sub-rule 2 and 3, the following sub-rules shall be substituted, namely:- “(2) The Administrative Secretary, Transport Department shall be authorised to sanction expenditure on any of the purpose (recurring and non-recurring) mentioned in the rules subject to maximum of fifty lakh rupees in each case.

(3) The Member Secretary shall be authorised to sanction expenditure on any of the purpose (recurring and non-recurring) mentioned in the rules subject to maximum of ten lakh rupees in each case.” NAVDEEP SINGH VIRK, Principal Secretary to Government Haryana, Transport Department.
