Section 46: Penalty for non-construction of buildings

The Himachal Pradesh Housing and Urban Development Authority Act, 2004State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 9 of 2004

Subject to the provision of this Act and the rules made thereunder, the authority may impose penalty, not exceeding 5 percentum of the cost of the plot per year, on the allottee if he fails to construct the building on the plot within the specified period:

Provided that before passing any order under this section, the Authority shall provide reasonable opportunity of being heard.
