The East Punjab Animal Contagious Diseases Act, 1948 (47 of 1948), as in force in the areas comprised in Himachal Pradesh immediately before 1 st November, 1966 and the Punjab Livestock and Birds Diseases Act, 1948, as in force in the areas transferred to Himachal Pradesh under section 5 of the Punjab Re-organisation Act, 1966, (31 of 1966), are hereby repealed:
Provided that anything done or any action taken or any proceedings commenced or continued under the aforesaid Acts shall be deemed to have been done, taken, commenced or continued under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
