Section 20: Approved persons or organisations

The Himachal Pradesh Maintenance of Parents and Dependants Act, 2001State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 19 of 2001

The State Government may approve-

(a) institutions or organisations engaged in social welfare or the representatives thereof ;

(b) persons professionally engaged in promoting the welfare of the family;

(d) any other persons ; whose association with a Tribunal would enable it to exercise its jurisdiction more effectively in accordance with the purpose of this Act.
