Section 25: Functions of the Selection Committee

(1) The Selection Committee shall make its recommendations to the Board in the matters of selection of persons for appointment of Officers, Teachers and employees of the University.

(2) If the Board does not accept the recommendations of the Selection Committee, it shall refer the recommendations back to it with reasons for reconsideration and if the Board does not accept the reconsidered views of the Selection Committee, the matter shall be referred to the Chancellor with reasons, and the decision of the Chancellor thereon shall be final.
