Section 6: Disposal of application

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Goa (Brackish Water) Fish Farming Regulation Act, 1991 (Act 9 of 1992), the Governm…State Rules of Goa · 1992

(1) On the receipt of report from the Directorate of Agriculture and Fisheries, the licensing authority shall consider the report and shall, after holding such inquiry as it thinks fit, so as to ensure that no damage is likely to be caused to any residential house or any other structure or a drinking water source.-

(i) allow the application in respect of the whole Of the area to which it relates;

(ii) allow the application in respect of any part of the area to which it relates; or

(iii) reject the application

(2) The applicant shall be informed of every order passed by the licensing authority under sub-rule (1)
