Section 2: Definitions

(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,— a)“Act” means the Goa Public Lighting Duty Act, 2021 (Goa Act 25 of 2021).

b)“Public lighting duty” means duty payable as per section 4 of the Act.

(2) Words and expressions used and not defined in these rules but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
