(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,-

(a) “Act” means the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013);

(b) “Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority” means authority as constituted under section 125 of the Act;

(2) The words and expressions used herein but not defined in these rules, and defined in the Act shall have the meanings as assigned to them in the Act.
