Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement.

The Jammu and Kashmir School Educ Ation Act, 2002Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 21 of 2002

(1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir School Education Act, 2002.

(2) It shall extend to the [whole of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir].

[(3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the [Official Gazette], appoint.]

[(4) Nothing in this Act shall affect the application of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009.]
